With spacious (and immaculately clean!) ensuite dorms, doubles and shared dorms at budget prices from $24 per night, you’d be mad to miss out on the ultimate in luxury backpacker accommodation.
The only hostel in town with a swimming pool for you to laze around during the days, not to mention our mediation area, 6.5 hectares of land, hammocks and picturesque lake – and all just a hop away from the beach/Agnes Water on our free shuttle bus running all day long.
With tours galore to choose from - Scooteroo, National Park tours, kayaking, visiting the reef, surfing, flights over 1770 – you won’t want to leave! And if that doesn’t keep you busy, there’s always pool, volleyball, BBQs, bike-hire, internet, and over 250 free DVDs to hire and watch on our huge plasma TV in our large common area.
Come and play guitar around the campfire with toasted marshmallows and a glass of Goon, or just chill out with a book in our hammocks in the most beautiful of surroundings.

How To get There
Heading north through Bundaberg and south through Miriam
Vale (south of Gladstone) on the Bruce Highway, Town of 1770 is approximately a six hour drive north of Brisbane and eight hours south of Airlie Beach. Our offi ce is located at the 1770 Marina.
